Go Eun-sae is an ambitious prosecutor in the Anti-Corruption Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. While pursuing a violent crime organization, she is injured and loses her memory entirely — her past, her relationships, her own name. Into that blankness walks Jang Tae-ha, a boxing coach who tells her, with great confidence, that he is her boyfriend. He is lying. Tae-ha spent fourteen years inside a crime organization and was carrying out one final assignment before leaving that life behind when he encountered Eun-sae again — and recognized her as his first love. The lie is not told to win her. It is told to keep her alive. The two move to a rural taffy-making village together, and their strange cohabitation begins.
