Tune in for Love

Tune in for Love (2019) — Movie K-Drama, 1 episodes.

In October 1994, on the day singer Yoo Yeol hosts his radio show "Music Album" for the first time, Mi-soo, who runs a bakery, and Hyun-woo, a high school student, meet by chance. Hyun-woo has just been released from a juvenile detention center and begins working part-time at the bakery; at first Mi-soo is wary of him, but the two grow close. Yet he carries a heavy guilt from his past that he will not share with anyone. Over the next decade the two keep crossing paths, but timing is not always on their side — a story of love, missed chances, and young adults trying to make it through the economic recession caused by the 1997 Asian financial crisis. In Korean reviews, this film is often compared to Architecture 101. One reviewer noted that while Architecture 101 leaves a bittersweet aftertaste, Tune in for Love leaves a refreshing one.
